Ray Harrell (full name: Raymond James Harrell; Cowboy) played pitcher from 1935 until 1945 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants. He played for the Cardinals from 1935 - 1938, Phillies in 1939, Cubs in 1939, Pirates in 1940 and Giants in 1945. Over 6 seasons, he started 31 games, won 9 games, struck out 136 batters, and had a 5.70 ERA. Born on February 16, 1912 in Petrolia, TX (All Transactions), Harrell stood 6' 1" and weighed 185 lb.
