Ray Boone (full name: Raymond Otis Boone; Ike) played third baseman, shortstop and first baseman from 1948 until 1960 for the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Athletics, Milwaukee Braves and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Indians from 1948 - 1953, Tigers from 1953 - 1958, White Sox from 1958 - 1959, Athletics in 1959, Braves from 1959 - 1960 and Red Sox in 1960.
