Ray Berres (full name: Raymond Frederick Berres; no nicknames) played catcher from 1934 until 1945 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Bees, Boston Braves and New York Giants. He played for the Dodgers from 1934 - 1936, Pirates from 1937 - 1940, Bees in 1940, Braves in 1941 and Giants from 1942 - 1945. Over 11 seasons, he played 561 games, hit 3 home runs, drove in 96 runs, and stole 4 bases. Born on August 31, 1907 in Kenosha, WI (All Transactions), Berres stood 5' 9" and weighed 170 lb.
