Ray Allison (full name: Ray Allison; no nicknames) played right wing from 1980 until 1987 for the Hartford Whalers and Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Whalers from 1980 - 1981 and Flyers from 1982 - 1987. Over 7 seasons, he played 238 games, scored 64 goals, and made 93 assists. Born in Cranbrook, British Columbia on March 4, 1959, Allison stands 5-10 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the 1st round (18th overall) of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft.
