Randy Rota (full name: Randy Rota; no nicknames) played center/left wing from 1973 until 1977 for the Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Kansas City Scouts and Colorado Rockies. He played for the Canadies in 1973, Kings in 1974, Scouts from 1975 - 1976 and in 1977. Over 5 seasons, he played 212 games, scored 38 goals, and made 39 assists. Born in Creston, British Columbia on August 16, 1950, Rota stands 5-8 and weighs 170 lbs. He was drafted by the Oakland Seals in the 3rd round (33rd overall) of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft.
