Ralph Garr (full name: Ralph Allen Garr; Road Runner and Gator) played leftfielder from 1968 until 1980 for the Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox and California Angels. He played for the Braves from 1968 - 1975, White Sox from 1976 - 1979 and Angels from 1979 - 1980. Over 13 seasons, he played 1317 games, hit 75 home runs, drove in 717 runs, and stole 172 bases. Born on December 12, 1945 in Monroe, LA, Garr stands 5' 11" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Lincoln (Ruston, LA) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 3rd round of the 1967 amateur draft.
