Ralph Birkofer (full name: Ralph Joseph Birkofer; Lefty) played pitcher from 1933 until 1937 for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Pirates from 1933 - 1936 and Dodgers in 1937. Over 5 seasons, he started 63 games, won 31 games, struck out 224 batters, and had a 4.19 ERA. Born on November 5, 1908 in Cincinnati, OH (All Transactions), Birkofer stood 5' 11" and weighed 213 lb. He attended high school.
