Rafael Araujo (full name: Rafael Paulo Araujo; no nicknames) played Center from 2005 until 2007 for the Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz. Over 3 seasons, he played 139 games, scored 389 points (2.8 ppg) and grabbed 395 rebounds (2.8 rpg). Araujo also dished out 41 assists (0.3 apg), made 51 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 16 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Curitiba, Brazil on August 12, 1980, Araujo stands 6-11 and weighs 280 lbs. He attended high school at Padre Anacleto in San Paulo, Brazil and college at Brigham Young University. He was drafted by the Toronto Raptors in the 1st round (8th pick, 8th overall) of the 2004 NBA draft.
