About Qyntel Woods Memorabilia & Collectibles
Qyntel Woods is an American pro basketball athlete who spent a few season playing as small forward for the Portland Trail Blazers, Miami Heat and the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association. Woods was born in Memphis, Tennessee and took his college education from two schools; the Moberly Junior College and the Northeast Mississippi Community College.
Woods’ pro basketball career began after he was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2002 College Draft being the twenty first overall pick of the team. Woods participated in over 115 games during his first two seasons with the Trail Blazers. He had an average of roughly four points per game and was only used sparingly in the 2003 postseason. Woods had an off-court trouble during the 2004-05. And in response to this, the Trail Blazers suspended and eventually released Woods.
Upon leaving the Trail Blazers in January 2005, Woods then joined the Miami Heat, participating in three games but was not used in the playoffs. Woods became part of a thirteen-player mega deal on August 2, 2006 that sent him to the Boston Celtics and played for only three exhibition games, after which he was signed on December 2005 by the New York Knicks. Apart from his NBA career, Woods also played for the Olympiacos of the Greek League and the Fortitudo Bologna of the Italian League.
