Quinton Lenord Ross currently plays for the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association. He hails from Dallas, Texas and attended Justin F. Kimball High School. He led his high school team to the state championships but lost. He then enrolled at the Southern Methodist University and spent his college basketball career there.
Before making it to the NBA, Ross played for the Telindus Oostende of Belgium for the 2003 to 2004 season. He then joined the Los Angeles Clippers in 2004 and played with them until 2008. With the Clippers he was able to set career high in points made in a game against the Phoenix Suns. He broke his personal record in a game against the Golden State Warriors. On September 2008, he signed with the Memphis Grizzlies and then in July 2009 joined the Dallas Mavericks. By February 2010, he was sent to the Washington Wizards and in June of the same year was traded off to the New Jersey Nets. Overall, Ross played in 422 regular season games and made an average of 4.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1 assist per game.
