About Quincy Carter Memorabilia & CollectiblesLavonya Quintelle Carter or better known as Quincy Carter was raised in Decatur, Georgia and was born on October 13, 1977. He is well remembered as an outstanding football player in the quarterback position. He had his start in the league when he was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the year 2001. Due to his excellent performances and game standing even when he was still in college at University of Georgia, he was taken in by the Cowboys. He had stayed with the said team for three years. He was also known to be a great budding footballer in high school at Southwest DeKalb.
Even before his appearance in the NFL, he was already absorbed by a number of teams to play in the minor league. He selected by the Chicago Cubs five years his debut in the major league. He also worked under the Daytona Cubs in 1999. After his NFL draft, he then led his team to several wins which include grabbing a 20-13 victory over the New York Giants.
After such tenure with the Cubs, he then moved in to the Montreal Allouttes among other many teams. He also spent time with the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings in 2007 and jumped to the Kansas City Brigade. Recently, Quincy Carter is affiliated with the Abilene Ruff Riders, an indoor-team based in Texas.
