Preston Hanna (full name: Preston Lee Hanna; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1975 until 1982 for the Atlanta Braves and Oakland Athletics. He played for the Braves from 1975 - 1982 and Athletics in 1982. Over 8 seasons, he started 47 games, won 17 games, struck out 253 batters, and had a 4.61 ERA. Born on September 10, 1954 in Pensacola, FL, Hanna stands 6' 1" and weighs 195 lb. He attended Escambia (Pensacola, FL) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 1st round (11th pick) of the 1972 amateur draft. His debut was on September 13, 1975 and he played his final game on October 3, 1982. Over his career, Hanna made $200,000. Common misspellings of his name include Preston Lee Preston Hanna.
