Pit Martin (full name: Pit Martin; no nicknames) played center from 1962 until 1979 for the Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks and Vancouver Canucks. He played for the Red Wings from 1962 - 1966, Bruins from 1966 - 1967, Black Hawks from 1968 - 1978 and Canucks from 1978 - 1979. Over 17 seasons, he played 1101 games, scored 324 goals, and made 485 assists. Born in Noranda, Quebec on December 9, 1943, Martin stood 5-9 and weighed 170 lbs.
