Philippe Boucher (full name: Philippe Boucher; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1993 until 2009 for the Buffalo Sabres, Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins. He played for the Sabres from 1993 - 1995, Kings from 1995 - 2002, Stars from 2003 - 2009 and Penguins in 2009. Over 16 seasons, he played 748 games, scored 94 goals, and made 206 assists. Born in Ste-Apollinaire, Quebec on March 24, 1973, Boucher stands 6-3 and weighs 218 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1st round (13th overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Boucher officially announced retirement on September 3, 2009.
