Former quarterback that played with the New York Giants and currently a television sportscaster, Phil Simms who has the Phil Simms autographed NFL football as a collectible was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on November 3, 1955.

 

His career in the NFL had started when first being drafted by the New York Giants in the 1979 NFL Draft. Simms was drafted in the first round. His rookie year was seemed to be a good jump start to him. Simms was able to won the first five of his starts. He gained to throw 1,743 yards and 13 touchdown passes. His team had gained a score of 6-4 and was named to the NFL All- Rookie Team. In the 1984 to 1986 season, Simms was voted to the Pro Bowl MVP. In between of that season, he was able to lead the Giants to won 24 victories. In the Super Bowl XXI, Simms seemed to have one of the best performances of his career. He was able to complete 22 passes for 286 yards that had set a Super Bowl record. Simms was selected twice in the Pro Bowl, in the year 1985 and 1993.

 

Simms stayed with the giants for 14 seasons. He was able to complete 2,576 out of 4,647 passes for the 33,462 yards and touchdowns of 199 making the Phil Simms autographed NFL football a cool item to own. He retired in 1994 and worked as a broadcast crew of NBC and CBS.
