Phil Nevin (full name: Phillip Joseph Nevin; no nicknames) played third baseman, first baseman and outfielder from 1995 until 2006 for the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Anaheim Angels, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Tigers from 1995 - 1997, Astros in 1995, Angels in 1998, Padres from 1999 - 2005, Rangers from 2005 - 2006, Twins in 2006 and Cubs in 2006. Over 12 seasons, he played 1217 games, hit 208 home runs, drove in 584 runs, and stole 18 bases. Born on January 19, 1971 in Fullerton, CA, Nevin stands 6' 2" and weighs 180 lb. He attended El Dorado (Placentia, CA) high school and was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 1st round (1st pick) of the 1992 amateur draft. His debut was on June 11, 1995 and he played his final game on September 29, 2006. Over his career, Nevin made $39,579,409.
