Phil Marchildon (full name: Philip Joseph Marchildon; Babe) played pitcher from 1940 until 1950 for the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Athletics from 1940 - 1949 and Red Sox in 1950. Over 9 seasons, he started 162 games, won 68 games, struck out 481 batters, and had a 3.93 ERA. Born on October 25, 1913 in Penetanguishene, Ontario, CAN, Marchildon stood 5' 10" and weighed 170 lb. He attended Penentang (Penentang, ON) (All Transactions) high school.
