An outstanding basketball player from Berkeley, California, Phil Chenier was born on October 30, 1950. At present, he is affiliated still with the National Basketball Association as a broadcaster for the Washington Wizards.

 

Phil Chenier had been into sports already even at a very young age. He came from Berkeley High School as well as in University of California where he was part of the varsity team. Because of exuding great confidence and also showing off some amazing playing skills, he was chosen by the Baltimore Bullets to be part of the team in 1971 during an the Hardship Draft which then later on led to his NBA debut.
