Peter Munro (full name: Peter Daniel Munro; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1999 until 2004 for the Toronto Blue Jays and Houston Astros. He played for the Jays from 1999 - 2000 and Astros from 2002 - 2004. Over 5 seasons, he started 40 games, won 13 games, struck out 189 batters, and had a 4.88 ERA. Born on June 14, 1975 in Flushing, NY, Munro stands 6' 2" and weighs 200 lb. He attended Benjamin Cardozo (Bayside, NY) high school and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 6th round of the 1993 amateur draft. His debut was on April 6, 1999 and he played his final game on October 1, 2004. Over his career, Munro made $725,000. Common misspellings of his name include Peter Daniel Peter Munro.
