Pete Falcone (full name: Peter Falcone; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1975 until 1984 for the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. He played for the Giants in 1975, Cardinals from 1976 - 1978, Mets from 1979 - 1982 and Braves from 1983 - 1984. Over 10 seasons, he started 217 games, won 70 games, struck out 865 batters, and had a 4.07 ERA. Born on October 1, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY, Falcone stands 6' 2" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Lafayette (Brooklyn, NY) high school and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 1st round (4th pick) of the 1973 amateur draft (June Secondary).
