Paul Thompson (full name: Paul Stanford Thompson; no nicknames) played Guard-Forward from 1984 until 1986 for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers. Over 3 seasons, he played 154 games, scored 1374 points (8.9 ppg) and grabbed 533 rebounds (3.5 rpg). Thompson also dished out 224 assists (1.5 apg), made 141 steals (0.9 spg), and blocked 79 shots (0.5 bpg) during his career. Born in Smyrna, Tennessee on May 25, 1961, Thompson stands 6-6 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at Peabody in Alexandria, Virginia and college at Tulane University. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 3rd round (3rd pick, 50th overall) of the 1983 NBA draft.
