About Paul Quantrill Memorabilia & CollectiblesA former Major League Baseball right-handed relief pitcher, Paul Quantrill was born in London, Ontario, Canada on November 3, 1968.
His baseball career started when he was first drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1986. Quantrill was drafted in the 26th round in the 660th overall. He was then again drafted in the 6th round by the Boston Red Sox of the 1989 amateur draft. On July 20, 1992, Quantrill made his Major League debut. The best years in his career came when he played with the Toronto Blue Jays. Among of his accomplishments are the 2001, All-star Achievement, he led the league appearances in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Quantrill also had a career of 3.83 ERA and holds up the New York Yankees records for most 86 games that are pitched in 2004 season.
Quantrill played for the Boston Red Sox in 1992 to 1994, with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1994-1995 and spent five years playing for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1996-2001. He played with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002 to 2003 and signed a contract with the New York Yankees that is worth $6.8 million before the season of 2004. Quantrill played with the New York Yankees in 2004 to 2005 and San Diego Padres in 2005 and with the Florida Marlins at the same year.
