Paul Laus (full name: Paul Laus; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1994 until 2002 for the Florida Panthers. He played for the Panthers from 1994 - 2002. Over 9 seasons, he played 530 games, scored 14 goals, and made 58 assists. Born in Beamsville, Ontario on September 26, 1970, Laus stands 6-1 and weighs 215 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2nd round (37th overall) of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Laus officially announced retirement on September 20, 2003.
