About Paul Arizin:
Paul Arizin (full name: Paul Joseph Arizin; Pitchin' Paul) played Forward-Guard from 1951 until 1962 for the Philadelphia Warriors. Over 10 seasons, he played 713 games, scored 16266 points (22.8 ppg) and grabbed 6129 rebounds (8.6 rpg). Arizin also dished out 1665 assists (2.3 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 9, 1928, Arizin stood 6-4 and weighed 190 lbs. He attended high school at LaSalle in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and college at Villanova University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the 1950 NBA draft (territorial selection). He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 1978.
