Patrick Ewing (full name: Patrick Aloysius Ewing; no nicknames) played Center-Forward from 1986 until 2002 for the New York Knickerbockers, Seattle Supersonics and Orlando Magic. Over 17 seasons, he played 1183 games, scored 24815 points (21.0 ppg) and grabbed 11607 rebounds (9.8 rpg). Ewing also dished out 2215 assists (1.9 apg), made 1136 steals (1.0 spg), and blocked 2894 shots (2.4 bpg) during his career. Born in Kingston, Jamaica on August 5, 1962, Ewing stands 7-0 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended high school at Rindge & Latin in Cambridge, Massachusetts and college at Georgetown University. He was drafted by the New York Knickerbockers in the 1st round (1st pick, 1st overall) of the 1985 NBA draft. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 2008.
