Pat Zachry (full name: Patrick Paul Zachry; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1976 until 1985 for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Reds from 1976 - 1977, Mets from 1977 - 1982, Dodgers from 1983 - 1984 and Phillies in 1985. Over 10 seasons, he started 154 games, won 69 games, struck out 669 batters, and had a 3.52 ERA. Born on April 24, 1952 in Richmond, TX, Zachry stands 6' 5" and weighs 180 lb. He attended Richfield (Waco, TX) high school and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 19th round of the 1970 amateur draft.
