Patrick “Pat” Christian White plays American football for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League as a quarterback. He hails from Daphne, Alabama and was born on February 25, 1986.
Even as a high school student, White has already shown passion for football becoming a class 6-A All-State first string for football. He enrolled at the West Virginia University to play football instead of playing for the Anaheim Angels of the MLB. In college, White has played against the University of Syracuse, Wofford College, East Carolina University, and Virginia Tech among others. Among his awards are the Hardman Award, Meineke Car Care Most Valuable Player, West Virginia Amateur Athlete of the Year, and the 2009 Senior Bowl MVP. He has shown great abilities throughout his collegiate career and was then drafted by the Miami Dolphins as 44th overall in the 2nd round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played with the Dolphins against the New England patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the game against the Steelers, White was involved with a helmet to helmet collision with Ike Taylor. Ricky Williams was quoted saying that Pat White is the most improved player on the Dolphins team.
