He played for the Twins from 1992 - 1996, Red Sox from 1996 - 1997, Mets from 1999 - 2000, Rangers in 2001, Cubs in 2002 and Pirates in 2003. Over 11 seasons, he started 63 games, won 42 games, struck out 452 batters, and had a 5.47 ERA. Born on August 9, 1970 in Bryan, TX, Mahomes stands 6' 1" and weighs 175 lb. He attended Lindale (Lindale, TX) high school and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 6th round of the 1988 amateur draft.
