A tennis player that is ranked as the highest player in the history of Thailand,
Paradorn Srichaphan, also known as “Ball” was born in Bangkok Thailand on June 14, 1979.
His ATP career started in the year 1998 and won the Hamlet cup four years after. It was his first ATP level singles title that was won in Bangkok Thailand on December 2001 with a score of 6-2 6-3. A year after that, he was able to grabbed 3 wins namely in Long Island, USA against Juan Ignacio of Argentina with a score of 5-7 6-2 6-2 in August 2002 and had the Paradorn Srichaphan autographed tennis ball with photo shadowbox as a remembrance for his fans. Two months after, in October 2002, he won against Marcelo Rios of Chile of the tournament in Stockholm, Sweden and in December 2002, Srichaphan won in the tournament held in Chennai India against Karol Kucera from Slovakia and again won in Long Island USA against James Blake with a score of 6-2 6-4. In June 2004, his victory again came in winning against Thomas Johansson of Sweden.
He continuously achieved victories in his career and more of his Paradorn Srichaphan autographed tennis ball with photo shadowbox was made for his numerous fans. He was able to get into the top 30 in the Hopman Cup in 2002. In 2003, he was on the World’s 11th rank in the rankings of ATP. Srichaphan won 6 titles in his career. He was known well in Thailand and was even the country’s flag bearer in the Summer Olympics Games of 2004 that was held in Athens, Greece.
