Otis Wilson is a former American pro football athlete he hailed from New York City, New York and took his college education when he attended the Syracuse University where after starting his college football career, Wilson transferred to the University of Louisville and was a three year letter winner from 1977 up to 1979. Wilson played as linebacker for the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Raiders of the National Football League.

He began playing in pro football after he was drafted by the Chicago Bears during the 1980 NFL Draft where he was a first round pick and went on to an eight year career with the Bears. As a starting outside linebacker, Wilson played on one of the most dominating defenses in the history of NFL as part of the linebacker trio with Mike Singletary and Wilber Marshall. This defense helped the Chicago Bears won the Super Bowl XX in 1986. Also, that same year, Wilson made his only Pro Bowl selection of his career.

Wilson played with the Bears until the 1987 seasons. However, injuries prevented him from playing in the following 1988 season. And in 1989, Wilson signed with the Los Angeles Raiders, but played for only a single game in the season and retired soon after.
