Otis Birdsong (full name: Otis Lee Birdsong; Bird) played Guard from 1978 until 1989 for the Kansas City Kings, New Jersey Nets and Boston Celtics. Over 12 seasons, he played 696 games, scored 12544 points (18.0 ppg) and grabbed 2072 rebounds (3.0 rpg). Birdsong also dished out 2260 assists (3.2 apg), made 858 steals (1.2 spg), and blocked 143 shots (0.2 bpg) during his career. Born in Winter Haven, Florida on December 9, 1955, Birdsong stands 6-3 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended high school at Winter Haven in Winter Haven, Florida and college at University of Houston. He was drafted by the Kansas City Kings in the 1st round (2nd pick, 2nd overall) of the 1977 NBA draft.
