Ossie Bluege (full name: Oswald Louis Bluege; no nicknames) played third baseman, shortstop and second baseman from 1931 until 1939 for the Washington Senators. He played for the Senators from 1931 - 1939. Over 18 seasons, he played 1867 games, hit 43 home runs, drove in 883 runs, and stole 140 bases. Born on October 24, 1900 in Chicago, IL, Bluege stood 5' 11" and weighed 162 lb. He attended Schurz (Chicago, IL) (All Transactions) high school.
