About Oscar Robertson Memorabilia & Collectibles
Widely known as O-Train or “The Big O,” Oscar Palmer Robertson was born on the 24th of November 1938 in Charlotte, Tennessee. He has been a player of both the Milwaukee Bucks and Cincinnati Royals. With his 6 feet 5 inches frame and 220 pounds weight, Robertson was in the position of a shooting guard and point guard.
He has been part of the All-Star for twelve times and eleven times for the All-NBA Team. And within fourteen professional seasons, Robertson was once hailed as the MVP. He is also the sole NBA player in the history to have a triple-double average in a whole season. As notable as Penny Hardaway, Robertson is also considered to be one of the all-time most versatile and best NBA players. He was also one of the key players when the Bucks got their sole championship in NBA during the 1970-71 season. Sad to say though, that his basketball career especially during his high school and college years has been plagued by wide racism.
Inducted to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980, Robertson was also voted in 1996 to be part of NBA History’s 50 Greatest Players. Now, all of his big fans can have his memorabilia which are all signed by him exclusively. You might as well add those from Peja Stojakovic and Stephen Curry which are all offered in low prices.
There are cases when his name is still imperfectly spelled Osccar Robertson, Oscarr Robertson, Osscar Robertson, Oscar Robertsonn, Oscar Roberrtson, Oscar Roberttson and Oscar Robertsone.
