Orlando Mercado (full name: Orlando (Rodriguez) Mercado; no nicknames) played catcher from 1982 until 1990 for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland Athletics, Minnesota Twins, Montreal Expos and New York Mets. He played for the Mariners from 1982 - 1984, Rangers in 1986, Tigers in 1987, Dodgers in 1987, Athletics in 1988, Twins in 1989, Expos in 1990 and Mets in 1990.
