Orlando Luis Cabrera was born in Cartagena, Columbia plays as an infielder of Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians. He is the brother of another baseball player, Jolbert Cabrera of the New York Mets. Cabrera’s baseball career started with the Montreal Expos on the 1st of June 1993. On the 31st of July 2004, he was traded in 2004 to the Boston Red Sox. After a few months, he was already a free agent. He then signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on the 12th of January 2005 and substituted David Eckstein as shortstop. Two years after with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, along with some cash he was swapped for Jon Garland to the Chicago White Sox. Orlando Cabrera has also played with teams like Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins for Tyler Ladendorf. On the 2010 season, he signed for a year with the Cincinnati Reds as shortstop. On the 20th of February 2011, he plays for the Cleveland Indians as a second baseman since Asdrubal Cabrera is already in shortstop.
