Oral Hildebrand (full name: Oral Clyde Hildebrand; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1931 until 1940 for the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns and New York Yankees. He played for the Indians from 1931 - 1936, Browns from 1937 - 1938 and Yankees from 1939 - 1940. Over 10 seasons, he started 182 games, won 83 games, struck out 527 batters, and had a 4.35 ERA. Born on April 7, 1907 in Indianapolis, IN, Hildebrand stood 6' 3" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 8, 1931 and he played his final game on July 28, 1940.
