Nina Foust is a retired professional golfer. She attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a degree in Physical Education. She currently ranks 173rd when it comes to career earnings with $339,539. Before deciding to go pro, she was able to make it to second place during the North Carolina Amateur, joining the ranks of Hollis Stacy and Yani Tseng. She was also awarded with low regional qualifying honors during the 1980 US Women’s Open. When attending Appalachian State University, she was able to win the NCAIAW Championship.
Foust joined the tour in 1985. In 1986, she was able to join the Cellular-One PING Golf Championship and was able to finish at 15th. She also joined the 1988 Mazda Classic where she finished at 17th. In 1989, she joined the du Maurier Ltd. Classic and was able to peak at 10th. The result with all of her performance for the first years of going pro, Foust was able to make $45,712 in all. She earned another $82,465 in 1991 after seven top-20 finishes.
In 1992, Foust entered the McCall’s LPGA Classic where she was able to finish third. She joined the 1993 Cellular-One PING and the US Women’s Open where she was able to finish with eighth and thirteenth respectively.
