Night Train Lane (fullname: Richard Lane; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 1952 until 1965 for the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Cardinals and Detroit Lions. He played 157 games, intercepted 68 passes and recovered 11 fumbles. Born in Austin, TX on April 16, 1927, Lane stands 6'1 and weighs 194 lbs. He attended college at Western Nebraska Community College-Scottsbluff. Lane was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1974, finalist in 1971, 1972, 1973.
