Neifi Perez is a former Major League Baseball player who hails from Dominican Republic. He started his professional playing career with the Colorado Rockies which signed him in 1992 without being drafted. He was assigned to play in the team’s minor league teams such as the Bend Rockies in 1993 and the Central Valley Rockies where he played as a part of the team’s defense. He also had a stint with the New Haven Ravens and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. In 2000, he bagged a Gold Glove award for his great skills in the field but was also good in offense, reviews say.

After his stint with the Rockies, he played for the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants. He also joined the Chicago Cubs and was assigned to play in the minor league teams of the organization. Perez also appeared for a few games for the Detroit Tigers and was part of the team’s World Series game in 2006. However, after being involved in some substance abuse issues, he was forced to leave the league. Reviews say he was offered a comeback for the Rockies but Perez is still not visible in the league as of the moment.
