Nate Andrews (full name: Nathan Hardy Andrews; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1937 until 1946 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, Boston Braves, New York Giants and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Cardinals from 1937 - 1939, Indians from 1940 - 1941, Braves from 1943 - 1945, Giants in 1946 and Reds in 1946. Over 8 seasons, he started 97 games, won 41 games, struck out 216 batters, and had a 3.46 ERA. Born on September 30, 1913 in Pembroke, NC, Andrews stood 6' 0" and weighed 195 lb.
