Myril Hoag (full name: Myrill Oliver Hoag; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1931 until 1945 for the New York Yankees, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians. He played for the Yankees from 1931 - 1938, Browns from 1939 - 1941, White Sox from 1941 - 1944 and Indians from 1944 - 1945. Over 13 seasons, he played 1020 games, hit 28 home runs, drove in 384 runs, and stole 59 bases. Born on March 9, 1908 in Davis, CA, Hoag stood 5' 11" and weighed 180 lb. He attended Sacramento (Sacramento, CA) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on April 15, 1931 and he played his final game on September 16, 1945.
