Murray Craven (full name: Murray Craven; no nicknames) played left wing from 1983 until 2000 for the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Hartford Whalers, Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks. He played for the Red Wings from 1983 - 1984, Flyers from 1985 - 1992, Whalers from 1992 - 1993, Canucks from 1993 - 1994, Blackhawks from 1995 - 1997 and Sharks from 1998 - 2000. Over 18 seasons, he played 1071 games, scored 266 goals, and made 493 assists. Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on July 20, 1964, Craven stands 6-3 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1st round (17th overall) of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft.
