Morrie Arnovich (full name: Morris Arnovich; Snooker) played leftfielder from 1936 until 1946 for the Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants. He played for the Phillies from 1936 - 1940, Reds in 1940 and Giants from 1941 - 1946. Over 7 seasons, he played 590 games, hit 22 home runs, drove in 234 runs, and stole 17 bases. Born on November 16, 1910 in Superior, WI, Arnovich stood 5' 10" and weighed 168 lb. He attended Superior (Superior, WI) high school. His debut was on September 14, 1936 and he played his final game on April 21, 1946. Common misspellings of his name include Morrie Morris Snooker Arnovich.
