Morlon Wiley is a former American pro basketball athlete who hails from New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California and took his college education when he attended the California State University in Long Beach. Wiley was a noteworthy athlete during his college basketball career where he was a four-year starter for the 49ers and was an All Big West Conference pick in 1988.
Wiley started his pro basketball career in the after he was drafted in the second round during the 1988 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association. Wiley played a single season for the Mavericks, participating in fifty one games during the 1988-89 seasons. On June 15, 1989, during the 1989 NBA Expansion Draft, Wiley was selected by the Orlando Magic and signed to a two year contract that year. In his first season with the Magic, Wiley participated in 40 games, and averaged five points and almost three assists per game.
Wiley was then waived shortly into the 1991-92 season. Wiley then signed with the San Antonio Spurs, but only played three games for them. Wiley then became a member of the Atlanta Hawks for the rest of the season. Wiley rejoined the Mavericks in the later parts of the 1992-93 seasons. After his career ended, Wiley became an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic.

Over 7 seasons, he played 295 games, scored 1078 points (3.7 ppg) and grabbed 341 rebounds (1.2 rpg). Wiley also dished out 722 assists (2.4 apg), made 243 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 17 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 24, 1966, Wiley stands 6-4 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended high school at Long Beach Polytechnic in Long Beach, California and college at California State University, Long Beach. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2nd round (21st pick, 46th overall) of the 1988 NBA draft.
