Monte Weaver (full name: Montie Morton Weaver; Prof) played pitcher from 1931 until 1939 for the Washington Senators and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Senators from 1931 - 1938 and Red Sox in 1939. Over 9 seasons, he started 135 games, won 71 games, struck out 297 batters, and had a 4.36 ERA. Born on June 15, 1906 in Helton, NC, Weaver stood 6' 0" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 20, 1931 and he played his final game on July 4, 1939.
