Monte Pearson (full name: Montgomery Marcellus Pearson; Hoot) played pitcher from 1932 until 1941 for the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Indians from 1932 - 1935, Yankees from 1936 - 1940 and Reds in 1941. Over 10 seasons, he started 191 games, won 100 games, struck out 703 batters, and had a 4.00 ERA. Born on September 2, 1908 in Oakland, CA, Pearson stood 6' 0" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 22, 1932 and he played his final game on August 5, 1941.
