Moe Williams is a former American pro football running back for the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. Williams hailed from Columbus, Georgia and took his college education when he attended the University of Kentucky where he also played college football. During his college football career, Williams made an instantaneous impact, setting the freshman rushing record in 1993 with 986 yards. He gained fifty eight yards on thirteen carries in the Peach Bowl at the end of his freshman season.
Williams compiled his best single season rushing performance in school history in 1995, rushing for 1600 yards and topping a hundred rushing yards in seven games. Williams left the university having a career total of 3,333 rushing yards in three seasons and twenty seven touchdowns. He began his pro football career when he was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft.
Williams spent most of his ten year career with the Vikings, and spending a single season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2001. Williams' best season came in 2003, when he totaled 745 rushing yards and 644 receiving yards. In 2005 Williams was involved in the Minnesota Vikings boat cruise scandal and was found guilty of disorderly conduct on April 20, 2006, and was sentenced to a $300 fine and 30 hours of community service, according to sources.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 3rd round (75th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft.
