Moe Mantha (full name: Moe Mantha; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1981 until 1992 for the Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota North Stars and Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Jets from 1981 - 1992, Penguins from 1985 - 1988, Oilers in 1988, North Stars from 1988 - 1989 and Flyers from 1989 - 1992. Over 12 seasons, he played 656 games, scored 81 goals, and made 289 assists. Born in Lakewood, Ohio on January 21, 1961, Mantha stands 6-2 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2nd round (23rd overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
