Mitch Kupchak (full name: Mitchell Kupchak; Mitch) played Forward-Center from 1977 until 1986 for the Washington Bullets and Los Angeles Lakers. Over 9 seasons, he played 510 games, scored 5202 points (10.2 ppg) and grabbed 2730 rebounds (5.4 rpg). Kupchak also dished out 377 assists (0.7 apg), made 164 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 176 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Hicksville, New York on May 24, 1954, Kupchak stands 6-9 and weighs 230 lbs. He attended high school at Brentwood in Brentwood, New York and college at University of North Carolina. He was drafted by the Washington Bullets in the 1st round (13th pick, 13th overall) of the 1976 NBA draft.
