Milt Wilcox is a former American pro baseball athlete who hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. Wilcox batted and threw right handed and have pitched for five major league teams during his seven season career in pro baseball, his teams were the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and the Seattle Mariners.
Wilcox started his pro baseball career after he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds during the 1968 amateur draft where he was the second round pick of the team and made his pro debut for the Reds on September 5, 1970. After playing for one season with the Reds, Wilcox was traded to the Cleveland Indians on December 1971 in exchange for Ted Uhlaender.
Wilcox spent four years with the Indians before he was traded to the Chicago Cubs on February 1975, playing for a single season. The following season, on June 1976, he was purchased by the Detroit Tigers and had his major career highlight winning the World Series champion in 1984 with the Tigers. And on February 1986, as free agent with the Seattle Mariners and had his final game with the team on June 12 that year and was then released two days after that game.

Milt Wilcox (full name: Milton Edward Wilcox; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1970 until 1986 for the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners. He played for the Reds from 1970 - 1971, Indians from 1972 - 1974, Cubs in 1975, Tigers from 1977 - 1985 and Mariners in 1986. Over 16 seasons, he started 283 games, won 119 games, struck out 1137 batters, and had a 4.07 ERA. Born on April 20, 1950 in Honolulu, HI, Wilcox stands 6' 2" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Crooked Oak (Oklahoma City, OK) high school and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2nd round of the 1968 amateur draft. His debut was on September 5, 1970 and he played his final game on June 12, 1986. Over his career, Wilcox made $728,750. Common misspellings of his name include Milton Edward Milt Wilcox.
